CSA / Zone Update 1-29-2018
Active Area Sign Up Sequence of Events:
- Sign Up/Create Account
- Issued to Engineering/Contractor
- Drop will be evaluated for service
- Staked for route to home
- Issued to Contractor
- Locates called in (48 hours to clear)
- Drop is placed to home
- Fiber Box (NID) is placed on side of home
- Fiber is spliced in the NID
- Fiber is spliced and tested to mainline
- Contractors review the completed work
- Released back to BOLT for review
- Released to schedule in-home installation
Current lead time for service deployment ranges from 3-6 weeks typically depending on construction needs. Customers requiring long line extensions or extensive underground construction should expect delays in service availability greater than 6 weeks. Service availability is not guaranteed in all cases. Situations requiring extensive construction or with unusual construction impediments may not be serviced at this time.
Empire District Electric customers will be reviewed and may be delayed or ineligible for service. PSO customers requiring mainline construction should expect a minimum of 120 days to establish service for pole permitting and may not be eligible for service at this time.
BOLT Active Service Area:
Active Service in Adair town.
ADWE, CHSW, CTST, CHEL, CHTW
We are active throughout rural Adair to Chelsea. Service drop installations will continue until all drops are placed.
Active service in Afton town.
This is a new active CSA, and drops have began, as well as service turn up.
Active service in Bernice town.
CTEN, CTES, CTNO, CTSE
Active service in Chelsea town.
COLCORD/WEST SILOAM SPRINGS AREAS:
COLC, COLW, CORE, DRIP, GRCY, SILN, SILO, SIRN, SIRW
Services are active. The remaining and new signups are being staked and issued to construction as quickly as possible.
FREA, MKNE, MKNR, POLE, SAIL
These areas are now active! We are continuing to place drops daily, from existing, and new sign ups.
GROVE SOUTH RURAL:
BUFF, GOVR, GRSW, HNCK, MAIN, MANO, TLND
Active service in Buffalo Shores, North and South, Governors Retreat Area.
GROVE NORTH RURAL:
CAYU, WOLF, WOOD
Portions of these areas are now becoming active! We are continuing to place drops daily in this area.
BDWY, BYCT, CHEE, CHQN, FRPK, GATE, GROV, HOUS, LOWE, LSRD, MADS, NOTS, PARK, PKPL, PTES, PTIS, STPK, TURT
Active service throughout Grove!
GROVE/WYANDOTTE/TURKEY FORD RURAL:
ICEB, TKFD, TURK
Active service north of Cowskin bridge, east and west from Ice Bluff to Missouri border.
Service is now active throughout town.
Active service east of Cleora, south of Ketchum, as well as north of Langley.
LANG, OKRD, SOSH
Service is now active throughout town!
MIAMI/QUAPAW/RURAL PEORIA RURAL/TOWN:
MIAM, MIST, NERV, NORE, PEOR, SPRV, SRES
Service is active, from east of Miami, through Peoria, and rural Quapaw.
Service is active, new drops are being staked and built quickly. Some may be delayed due to ODOT permitting requirements.
MONKEY ISLAND/AFTON RURAL:
Active service area in nearly all of Monkey Island, with a few exceptions. Active service east of Bernice to Copeland area.
PYRD, SWCT, VNHS, VOLT, VSOT, WOAK
Active service north and east of town.
ZP00, ZP01, ZP02, ZP03
Active service north and west of Zena.
BOLT Future Build-outs:
These are areas not currently active or under construction. Due to various obstacles, a fast approaching main-line build out deadline, and other factors affecting market entry. In the future, BOLT will go to a demand based approach for future build-outs. As construction plans expand and develop, new information will be made available.
Monkey Island Area:
Mainstay – Will not grant easement
White Chapel – Will not grant easement
Sheuline Estates – Will not grant easement
Newport Village – Insufficient take rate after easement delays
